To manage the decommissioning, separation and demolition of part of the existing building during the summer vacation in 2015
TowerEight worked with the university to ensure that the evolving brief was managed in terms of deliverability, programme and cost. This ensured that the noisiest and most disruptive works were carried out when the students were not there
The project is currently on site and on programme and is due to finish in time for the start of the Autumn term in 2017/18
The project also consists of upgrade works to the existing campus to facilitate the linking of the two buildings.
TowerEight is successfully representing the University on its delivery of a new build 264-bed student accommodation and 64,583 sq ft academic facility, which is doubling the size of our campus at Camberwell College of Arts. During this large scale build, they have demonstrated their technical ability in cost control, project management, and contract administration in a manner which is precisely communicated and understood by the vast number of differing stakeholders involved in such as large scale Higher Education capital project.”
