With the aim of bringing two teams together in one space, we used an open, workshop-based approach with rapid knowledge transfer to ensure that we could deliver the right solution in the appropriate timescale. We created an effective governance framework to ensure prompt decision making and to track variations, while promoting an open health & safety culture, encouraging the reporting of near misses, interventions and reward programmes.
Design and procurement was delivered within three months. The occupants have already reported increased productivity as an outcome of the collaborative workspace.
TowerEight was appointed as project and cost managers by Whitbread Plc for its exciting new London office fit-out project.
Whitbread Plc has taken a new lease on the First floor of 120 Holborn, totalling 20,000 sq ft, in order to co-locate their Executive and Digital teams in a vibrant, technology enabling, flexible workplace.
The project completed successfully at the end of June, representing a total programme of less than six months. A strong focus on Health & safety resulted in zero incidents.
